The SARE Scholarship was created to honor the sacrifices of our immigrant parents and families who worked tirelessly to provide us with abundant opportunities. We proudly offer two $5,000 scholarships annually to Berkeley City College students from non-domestic backgrounds. This initiative specifically supports international, asylees, refugees, and DACA (undocumented) students who often face barriers accessing traditional financial aid, with the goal of nurturing the next generation of change-makers and ensuring their educational dreams become reality.
