Nelson Lin
Nelson is a former Chinese restaurant child laborer who was raised across several states by a single mom. He currently consults data science for the largest publicly traded real estate company in the world and manages $35M in assets for accredited and non-accredited investors at his company Subtle Asset Management.
He has engineering degrees from Columbia University and Cal Poly SLO, and was a techie at Apple and Microsoft before starting real estate.

Annie Liu
Annie was raised in San Francisco by a strong-willed, but disabled mother in a single-parent household. She went from living in Section 8 low-income housing to purchasing 7 investment properties within 7 years while working for non-profits in the international student education industry. During the pandemic’s city lockdowns, she obtained her California real estate license in 2021 and an Associate Degree in Real Estate from Merritt College in 2022.
When not bouncing around the world recruiting international students, you can find her leading the SARE monthly meetups in the Bay Area, investor field trips, and SARECON.
